21 June in cricket
21 June
Dates follow UTC, the same clock as our daily posts.
On this day in 2019, Danielle Wyatt lit up the T20I stage with a commanding 81 from 55 balls for England against the West Indies, the standout knock among a memorable June 21 in T20 cricket history.
The date has long belonged to the big hitters. In the 2021 PSL, Hazratullah Zazai blazed 77 off just 38 for Peshawar Zalmi against Karachi Kings, while Usman Khawaja struck 70 from 40 for Islamabad United against Multan Sultans. England's South Africa duels also delivered, with Quinton de Kock's 65 off 38 in 2024 and AB de Villiers' 65 in 2017.
With the ball, Sohail Tanvir's 3 for 17 led the way, supported by Abdul Razzaq's 3 for 20 against Sri Lanka back in 2009.

Coverage & definitionsCricsheet ball-by-ball · matches played on this date (UTC) · data through 24 October 2026Show ▾
Source. Ball-by-ball data from Cricsheet. New matches are loaded from Cricsheet twice a day (10:00 and 22:00 UTC), typically a day or two after a match is published there.
Internationals. T20 internationals are included only when both teams are ICC full members. Fixtures against Associate nations (e.g. Netherlands, Scotland, Nepal, USA) are not in the dataset, so international totals for players who faced them are lower than their full career figures. Afghanistan men's internationals are absent for a different reason: Cricsheet has withheld every match involving the Afghanistan men's team since 14 November 2024, so none of them can be loaded. Every full member's totals are lower by the matches they played against Afghanistan, and Afghanistan men's players do not appear at all. Afghanistan women's matches are unaffected.
Leagues. Leagues: IPL, BBL, PSL, CPL, SA20, MLC, ILT20, BPL, LPL, WBBL, WPL — full history of each. Domestic T20 competitions outside this list (e.g. the Blast, SMAT, Super Smash) are not included.
Exclusions. Super overs are excluded from every total. A match abandoned without a ball bowled has no ball-by-ball file and is not in the dataset, even where a toss took place and official records credit the named players with an appearance. M can therefore sit one or two below a player's official career figure. Match appearances (M) come from the playing XI in each match file, so a match where a player neither batted nor bowled still counts as an appearance. Where M is missing, that player's appearances have not been loaded yet.
"Best" innings and spells are ranked by runs and by wickets then runs conceded; a quiet date here is only quiet within this dataset.
