Dates follow UTC, the same clock as our daily posts.
On this day in 2024, Sanju Samson lit up the T20I stage with a breathtaking 111 off just 47 balls against Bangladesh, a blistering century that showcased his explosive talent. He was ably supported by Suryakumar Yadav, whose 75 from 35 deliveries added further firepower to India's charge against the same opposition.
The occasion was also rich in all-round brilliance across the years. Back in 2022, Dawid Malan anchored England with 82 off 49 against Australia, while Sam Curran struck three times for 25 runs in the same contest, matched by Marcus Stoinis for Australia.
Among the standout bowling feats, Raymon Reifer's 4 for 24 for the Barbados Royals in the 2019 CPL remains the pick of the destroyers on this memorable date.
