On this day in 2023, Rahkeem Cornwall produced a monumental knock in the CPL, smashing 102 off just 48 balls for the Barbados Royals against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. It remains a rare and memorable century from the big man, lighting up the tournament with sheer power.
Six years earlier, on the same date in 2017, the Royals were on the receiving end of another CPL storm as Evin Lewis blazed 97 off 32 balls for St Kitts and Nevis. That fixture also saw Carlos Brathwaite dismantle Barbados with figures of 4 for 15.
In the international arena in 2023, Travis Head struck 91 off 48 for Australia against South Africa, with Sean Abbott chipping in with 4 for 31.
