13 July in cricket
13 July
Dates follow UTC, the same clock as our daily posts.
On This Day, July 13, 2024, Yashasvi Jaiswal announced himself in style, blazing 93 off just 53 balls for India against Zimbabwe. It was an innings brimming with intent, falling agonisingly short of a maiden T20I century but confirming his box-office pedigree at the top of the order.
The date has long favoured the batters. Back in 2016, AB de Villiers rolled back the years with 82 off 54 for the Barbados Royals against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the CPL, while 2025 delivered fireworks in the MLC as Quinton de Kock struck 77 off 46 for MI New York.
With the ball, Mohammad Mohsin was near-unplayable in the 2023 MLC, claiming 4 for 8 for the Texas Super Kings against Los Angeles Knight Riders.

Coverage & definitionsCricsheet ball-by-ball · matches played on this date (UTC) · data through 24 October 2026Show ▾
Source. Ball-by-ball data from Cricsheet. New matches are loaded from Cricsheet twice a day (10:00 and 22:00 UTC), typically a day or two after a match is published there.
Internationals. T20 internationals are included only when both teams are ICC full members. Fixtures against Associate nations (e.g. Netherlands, Scotland, Nepal, USA) are not in the dataset, so international totals for players who faced them are lower than their full career figures. Afghanistan men's internationals are absent for a different reason: Cricsheet has withheld every match involving the Afghanistan men's team since 14 November 2024, so none of them can be loaded. Every full member's totals are lower by the matches they played against Afghanistan, and Afghanistan men's players do not appear at all. Afghanistan women's matches are unaffected.
Leagues. Leagues: IPL, BBL, PSL, CPL, SA20, MLC, ILT20, BPL, LPL, WBBL, WPL — full history of each. Domestic T20 competitions outside this list (e.g. the Blast, SMAT, Super Smash) are not included.
Exclusions. Super overs are excluded from every total. A match abandoned without a ball bowled has no ball-by-ball file and is not in the dataset, even where a toss took place and official records credit the named players with an appearance. M can therefore sit one or two below a player's official career figure. Match appearances (M) come from the playing XI in each match file, so a match where a player neither batted nor bowled still counts as an appearance. Where M is missing, that player's appearances have not been loaded yet.
"Best" innings and spells are ranked by runs and by wickets then runs conceded; a quiet date here is only quiet within this dataset.
