15 June
Dates follow UTC, the same clock as our daily posts.
On This Day, June 15, 2025, Evin Lewis lit up a T20I against Ireland with a blistering 91 from just 44 balls for West Indies. It stands as the standout knock from this date in T20 history, a reminder of the destructive power the opener brings to the top of the order.
The date has long favoured England. Back in 2006, Marcus Trescothick anchored England against Sri Lanka with 72 from 58, while Paul Collingwood chipped in with the ball, claiming 4 for 22 in the same contest.
For bowlers, Saeed Ajmal's masterclass remains the pick — 4 for 19 against Ireland in 2009. In 2025, Noor Ahmad grabbed 4 for 25 in the MLC for Texas Super Kings against Los Angeles Knight Riders.

Coverage & definitionsCricsheet ball-by-ball · matches played on this date (UTC) · data through 2 November 2026Show ▾
Source. Ball-by-ball data from Cricsheet. New matches are loaded from Cricsheet twice a day (10:00 and 22:00 UTC), typically a day or two after a match is published there.
Internationals. T20 internationals are included only when both teams are ICC full members. Fixtures against Associate nations (e.g. Netherlands, Scotland, Nepal, USA) are not in the dataset, so international totals for players who faced them are lower than their full career figures. Afghanistan men's internationals are absent for a different reason: Cricsheet has withheld every match involving the Afghanistan men's team since 14 November 2024, so none of them can be loaded. Every full member's totals are lower by the matches they played against Afghanistan, and Afghanistan men's players do not appear at all. Afghanistan women's matches are unaffected.
Leagues. Leagues: IPL, BBL, PSL, CPL, SA20, MLC, ILT20, BPL, LPL, WBBL, WPL — full history of each. Domestic T20 competitions outside this list (e.g. the Blast, SMAT, Super Smash) are not included.
Exclusions. Super overs are excluded from every total. A match abandoned without a ball bowled has no ball-by-ball file and is not in the dataset, even where a toss took place and official records credit the named players with an appearance. M can therefore sit one or two below a player's official career figure. Match appearances (M) come from the playing XI in each match file, so a match where a player neither batted nor bowled still counts as an appearance. Where M is missing, that player's appearances have not been loaded yet.
"Best" innings and spells are ranked by runs and by wickets then runs conceded; a quiet date here is only quiet within this dataset.
