23 September
Dates follow UTC, the same clock as our daily posts.
On This Day, Harry Brook lit up a T20I against Pakistan in 2022, blazing 81 off just 35 balls for England. His explosive knock led the way on a date rich with attacking batting, as Ben Duckett chipped in with 70 from 42 in the same fixture, while Pakistan's Shan Masood answered with 65 off 40.
The date also belongs to the bowlers. Back in 2016, Imad Wasim produced a stunning spell for Pakistan against West Indies, claiming 5 wickets for just 14 runs. Earlier still, Ravi Bopara's England grabbed 4 for 10 against West Indies in 2011.
The IPL added its own flavour, with Rohit Sharma's 80 off 54 for Mumbai Indians in 2020 and Rahul Tripathi's 74 for Kolkata in 2021.
